Paul Richard Bleiberg

Paul is survived by his devoted wife, Peggy Bleiberg; beloved daughter, Byrni Bleiberg; stepchildren, Jennifer Arp (Chris), Lee Worley (Angela), and Jason Worley (Rebecca); two grandchildren, Holden and Sandi Hope Bleiberg; step grandchildren, Ryan and Patrick Arp, and Kaley, Kirsten, and Jacob Worley. He is also survived by his sister, Mardian Berman (Gil); nephews, Mark and Greg Berman, Joshua Simmers; niece, Kerry Fuller; and sister-in-law, Linda Simmers.

Paul was preceded in death by his parents; his infant son, Abraham Bleiberg; and son, Jason Bleiberg.

After graduating from Elon University, Paul had a long and successful career in specialty food marketing and only recently retired in June 2024. He enjoyed cooking for his family and had a love for music and singing, especially with his band. He was a big fan of the Carolina Panthers and attended many of their games. Paul never met a stranger and liked keeping in touch with his many friends. His love for the ocean gave him much joy and peace. He requested that his ashes be scattered off the South Carolina coast after his passing with a small family memorial service.

The family would like to send special thanks to Paul’s hospice team for their supportive care, and to their wonderful friends and neighbors for their kindness and assistance. In lieu of flowers, people may make a donation to their charity of choice.
