

LEXINGTON - Raymond Marion Senn, age 78, of Lexington, SC passed away September 11, 2016 peacefully surrounded by his loving family. He fought a long battle with Parkinson’s disease. Born in Columbia, SC, he was a graduate of Brookland Cayce High School. After high school, he served six years in the Army National Guard. During his career, Raymond was a partner of Senn Brothers Produce at the State Farmers Market, part owner and operator of Senn’s Gulf Service in Cayce, SC and most recently, owner of Anne’s Hallmark in Columbiana Centre.
Throughout his life, Raymond enjoyed many hobbies and activities. He was an outstanding pitcher in Fast Pitch Softball Leagues. He enjoyed car racing, riding motorcycles, traveling, playing tennis and most of all, the game of golf. He was a charter member of Golden Hills Golf and Country Club. He was also an avid Gamecock fan. He had two cats that he dearly loved.
Raymond was a life time member of Mount Hebron United Methodist Church. He was a wonderful loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and friend. He was a humble and kind man who always put the needs of his family before himself. He was well respected and led his life as an example to others.
His memory will always be treasured by his devoted wife of 60 years, Nancy C. Senn; his son, Randy Senn (Jane), his daughter, Reneé Kyzer (Kevin); grandchildren, Kyle, Amanda, Stephanie, Randi, Amanda, Chelsey, Sarah and six great grandchildren; sisters, Lib and Jean. He was predeceased by his brother, David.

A service to celebrate his life will be held at Mt. Hebron United Methodist Church, 3050 Leaphart Road, West Columbia, SC at 3:30 pm on Thursday, September 15, 2016. Visitation for his family and friends will be held from 5-7 pm on Wednesday September 14, 2016, at Caughman Harman Funeral Home, 503 North Lake Drive, Lexington, SC.
Memorials may be made in lieu of flowers to the National Parkinson’s Foundation or Mt. Hebron United Methodist Church.
