Born on September 26, 1959, in Columbia, SC, Ricky was the son of the late Christabell Sharpe and Otis Sharpe Jr. He was a devoted husband, loving father, proud grandfather, and loyal brother.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra Sharpe; his sons, Sheldon Sharpe and Brendon Sharpe (Katie); and his grandchildren, Mason, Hudson, and Jackson Sharpe. He is also survived by his sister, Rochelle Tindal-Sharpe (Russell); his brother, Rusty Sharpe (Linda); and his nieces, Breanna Tindal and Stephanie Thoele.
A lifelong fan of sports, Ricky enjoyed watching games and fondly remembered his days playing baseball as a child. He also enjoyed playing pool and golf throughout his life. Ricky was retired and spent his later years surrounded by family, whom he loved deeply.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 27, 2025 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Caughman Harman Funeral Home - Lexington Chapel. There will be no formal funeral service, as Ricky will be cremated in accordance with his wishes.
