Bob had a deeply personal relationship with Jesus, loved God, and constantly sought His wisdom and guidance.
Bob was a wonderful husband, and a caring father. He never hesitated to help when called upon. He worked hard his whole life. He was a great example of loyalty and faithfulness for his family. Bob was committed to knowledge and lifetime learning as such he read books... a bunch of them. He tinkered and fixed everything, always had a project. He skied and bowled with family, played Dominos and Scrabble. He smoked his menthols, he laughed a lot, and he enjoyed retirement. Family was very important to Bob and he was surrounded by them when he passed.
He is survived by his wife Betty A. Amodio, his children: Angelo A. Amodio (Jan) of Honolulu, HI., Bryan K. Amodio (Lora) of Lexington, SC., and his daughter Mary F. He is pre-deceased by his son Michael J. Amodio of Hiddenite, NC., and his sister Patsy Gantt of Lexington, SC.
Bob enjoyed people and was never afraid to start up random conversations. He joked with everyone because he knew that laughter was the best medicine. When asked "How are you?" he always replied, "Well..., I woke up on the right side of the grass..." This made everyone smile. He is truly loved and will be sorely missed. Bob leaves behind a tremendous number of fond memories.
To all of us, he will forever ‘be on the right side of the grass...’
