Wallace worked for almost 40 years at Brentwood School District in Brentwood, NY and served in the U.S. Army. He enjoyed working in the yard, gardening, watching sports, and American History. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandkids.
He is survived by his wife, Sherri Fier Schrouder; sons, David Schrouder (Cheryl) and Eddie Schrouder (Carlyn); daughter, Keri Morris (Ben); and grandchildren, Addison, Emma, Joe, Molly, Lucy and Jack.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, March 5, 2025 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home – Lexington Chapel, 503 North Lake Drive, Lexington, SC 29072. A graveside service will occur at 11:00 AM on Thursday, March 6, 2025 at Fort Jackson National Cemetery, 4170 Percival Rd, Columbia, SC 29229.
