LEXINGTON – A Memorial service for Wanda W. Hickman, 67, will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, October 27, 2012 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the funeral home chapel. Memorials may be made to Pets, Inc. 300 Orchard Drive, West Columbia, SC 29170.
Mrs. Hickman was born November 17, 1944 in Orangeburg, SC and passed away on Tuesday, October 23, 2012. She was a daughter of the late John H. Whitaker and Nermae Carter Whitaker. Mrs. Hickman was an Administrative Assistant in the Banking Industry.
Mrs. Hickman is survived by her husband, James L. Hickman; daughter, Heather H. Parsons (Chevis) of Columbia; sister, Shelia W. McIntyre (Randy) of Wilmington, NC; brother-in-law, Gene Hickman (Narda) of Virginia Beach, VA; nieces, Kimberly McIntyre (John Giddo) and J. Kendall McIntyre. She was predeceased by her parents and nephew, Kristopher D. Rucker. As a beloved wife, mother, sister and friend, she will be missed by many.
