William Frank Berry

WEST COLUMBIA - Funeral services for William “Frank” “Mokey” Berry, Sr., 72, of West Columbia will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, March 11, 2016 at Mt. Horeb United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends following the service at the church.

Mr. Berry was born March 11, 1943 in Columbia SC and passed away Friday, March 4, 2016. He was the son of the late, Chalmers Frank Berry and Margaret Eleanor Price. Frank was a member of Hope Baptist Church formerly known as Eastwood Baptist. Frank was an Official with the South Carolina Sons of the Confederate Veterans, Founding Camp Commander and active member of the Palmetto Camp 22, also the South Carolina Division 6th Brigade Commander, Chairman of the Confederate Veterans Grave Registration Program Committee. He was an active member and Past Master of Earlewood Masonic Lodge #371, Scottish Right, Shriners (Jamil Temple) and South Carolina State Constable

He is survived by his, children, W. Frank Berry, Jr. (Michelle), Jodi B. Salter (Jeff), Elizabeth “Jane” Reilly (Mark); grandchildren, Caleb Berry, Grace Salter, Matthew Reilly, Abbigail Reilly, Benjamin Reilly; step-daughter, Catherine L. Humphries; wife, Ellender H. Berry; sister, Joanne Hampton (Jimmy); brother, Fred T. Berry (Pam) and nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Caughman-Harman Funeral Home Lexington Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
