I was sad to hear of the loss of Peggy.  She was always so nice when I would come to the house, seemingly always joking and smiling.  I remember needing a ride around 2am from Park College and called the house asking for Becky.  Peggy didn't get upset with my time for calling and awoke the slumbering daughter to help me out.  Please take care and enjoy the great memories.

I was blessed to know Peggy as a friend as well as a client.  There were many times she would brighten my day as she visited the insurance office.  What shocked me when first getting to know Peggy was how happy she was- all the time.  

One day she called asking if we had any atlases in the office.  We said that we had boxes of them and would be glad to give her one.  She and I visited and like many other times, what I thought would be a short, common interaction between us - became a huge encouragement to me.  As a young business owner, I was stressed.  That day (like many future days that I would interact with Peggy) she took time to ask me about me, my family, my business and make me laugh and think about what's really important.

Peggy's laughter was contagious and I can easily see how she was successful in sales, raising children, serving God and building relationships.  She prioritized her time correctly I believe as her life embodied the 2 greatest commandments we have from God- love God and love others.

When Peggy moved into a very nice apartment, I visited her to inspect her apartment.  Because we both have the gift of gab, we must have talked for over 30 min or longer.  The phone rang and it was her daughter, Ann.  She asked if Matt was there and she said "yes".  We laughed.  She told Peggy that Matt needed to get home so his wife could go take the car and pick her up for Bible study.  Peggy and I felt the comraderie of 2 young kids getting into trouble with the adults.

I loved Peggy and am so thankful she was my friend.

Pam,  Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.  Peggy was such a kind and caring person, as with all of your family members.  Your mom and dad did a great job with their kids.  I hope that you are getting through this comfortably.

Pam,  You and your family are in my/our prayers and thoughts.  Your family and you helped Peggy's last years be meaningful for as long as possible.  That is a beautiful tribute.

Pam,  We are so sorry to hear of your sister's death.  We know how loving and caring you have been as she was victimized by this terrible disease.  Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Peggy was always so welcoming. I have so many warm and hilarious memories of her - and every time I think of her, of course I hear her laugh. She was so giving, so loving, truly one of a kind.

I met sweet Peggy when I was in college with Ann.  A handful of times I stayed with Ann during school breaks and Peggy graciously opened her home to me.  During those visits Peggy introduced me to one of the best comfort foods that I've since introduced to my own children - grilled green chile and cheese sandwiches.  Sooo good!

Starting then and the 20+ years following, Peggy always had a genuine interest in me and my family and would ask for updates whenever our paths crossed.  Peggy embodied tenderness, love and care for others, and her legacy lives on in her children and grandchildren.  Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Deepest sympathies to your family. Our lives were blessed when I met Peggy a few years ago at a Christmas party. .  I loved seeing her at church and how her face would light up when she saw us. Peggy was a friend who was easy to laugh with and talk to.  I sold Peggy a house in the 1980's and we became friends, not just acquaintances.  Oh that wonderful smile!!  Peggy's children are sweet with easy dispositions, an absolute extension of who she was. She is and always will be missed.

Dear Becky,Joey and families, My heart is saddened to not get the opportunity to get to know your mother very long and so late in her life but I felt like when I first met her when Becky and Joey was going to get married and I felt like I had known her my whole life she had the prettiest smile and was so warm and friendly!! Then when Ellie and Dane was born we talked and went to lunch together and I felt like we will always have a bond a bond called the grandmothers bond!! I will do my best to be there for Becky and the kids now and in the future!! Peggy did a wonderful job of raising her children!!

The first memories I have of Peggy is when we were in High School and she would greet me with open arms and a smile as big as her heart.  The smiles never stopped nor did her genuine interest in my shenanigans.  
Ann-you are the perfect extension of her...full of life, joy and a deep love for your family and friends.   
The lasting memory I have of Peggy is one of my favorites. She remembered me at a time towards the end when we were not sure she would, but in true Peggy style said "I remember you, how could I forget that laugh".  The feeling is mutual Peggy,  I will never forget your laugh.

My dear Pegs! I don't know how long I did your hair but I enjoyed every minute I spent with you. You were definitely one of my favorites! We went through a lot of life together and it was sad watching you go through your memory loss but I feel blessed to have shared that with you too. You loved your family with all of your heart and it was an honor to share that with you too! I will miss our many talks and laughs! You were truly one of a kind!!!

How I always loved and adored Peggy!! She was there for my growing up years, always loving & comforting. She let Ann and I watch "Days of Our Lives" even though I wasn't allowed, and she would make me a delicious fried egg sandwich. She coached my soccer team...we weren't very good, but Peggy was super-supportive and encouraging. Her relationship with her children was one that I always envied, and hoped to mirror with my own kids. 

One time she came to visit Darin, and Mark and I ran into her at the airport! What a surprise to find myself in her always loving, always comforting embrace!

I spoke to Peggy on the phone on the morning of my wedding day...Ann snapped a picture. Thank you for making me laugh. I don't remember what you said, but I know it made me laugh.
