Robert Lee Yoakum, 78, was born February 24, 1939 in Polo, Missouri to Robert R. and Allene (Moyer) Yoakum. At 10 years old, Robert moved to Orrick, MO where he graduated from Orrick High School and stayed there until 1964. Robert attended Kansas City Business School and later went on to work for Chemegro and TWA for 30 years.
Robert married Margaret (Yauk) Yoakum on August 8, 1964. They enjoyed spending time together and traveling.
Robert is survived by his wife, Margaret of Kearney, MO, three sons, Rolland (Barbara) Yoakum of Kansas City, MO, Martin (Patti) Yoakum of St. Louis, MO, and Rev. Kevin (Kathy) Yoakum of Riverview, FL, three grandsons, two granddaughters, one niece, and one nephew.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Allene.
A Memorial service will be conducted on Saturday, December 16, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. with visitation at 10:00 A.M. at St Stephen Lutheran Church, Liberty, Missouri.
