Nancy, Barney & Todd, thinking of all of you right now & remembering all the laughs we had together - especially of Sam making fun of me ALL the time. Love to you all!

When I think of Sam this comes to mind, "he fought a good fight and kept the faith".  He lived lift to the fullest and trusted God to the fullest.  My sincere sympathy to Nancy and the entire family.  May God hold you all close and give you peace during this time.

In the short time i knew Sam i was impressed with his values of faith, family and friends, even in his most trying hours he was a generous and thoughtful man, i hope you all  take comfort in knowing Sam is with his Lord and that his family and church family was always first in his thoughts and prayers.

Ms. York, Todd, and family, I am sorry for the loss of such a great man.  I have been blessed to have known him, served has his doctor, and been treated by him as a friend.  It was an honor and blessing to be there with most of the family to see his love and respect for each one of you.  In my opinion, no one can doubt his loyalty, love, and commitment to his family and friends.  I am grateful to have been a recipiant of some of that.  My prayers are with you all.  Job 19:25-27

I am so sorry to hear of this news during this time of the year. I remember when I first met your mother and father, and taking care of your dad that day like it was yesterday. When I would see your mother, I would  ask her about your dad knowing that his health had started to deteriorate, and I was so happy that I had the chance to see and talk with him again before his passing, and helping to take care of him again. Todd, we may not understand why things happen as they do, but GOD knows all things in his infinite wisdom, he made us and he knew your father had to make this journey. But rejoice in knowing that to be in the absence of the body is to be in the presence of the Lord, and he will now possess a new body! No longer in pain and suffering! The greatest gift of all is knowing that he was saved and served our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ!! I pray that GOD will comfort you and your family during this time, and I will be praying for you all.

 I am so sorry to hear of this news during this time of the year. I remember when I first met your mother and father and taking care of him. I am so happy I finally had a chance to see him again and talk with him before his passing. Know that he is not in anymore pain and suffering, and to be in the absence in the body is to be in the presence of the Lord. He has a new body now! Todd, I want you and your family to know that GOD makes no mistakes and even though we may not understand, he is infinite in his wisdom, he made us, and knew that this was a journey your father had to make. May GOD bless you and your family during this time of sorrow, but know that you can rejoice knowing that your father was a saved man and knew Jesus Christ as his Lord and personal Savior and for that alone, we can rejoice!
