A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 3rd at 11:00 a.m. at Shiloh United Methodist Church; burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 6 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Dice and Minnie York Freeman.
Surviving is his wife of 52 years, Elaine York Freeman of the home; one daughter, Amber Hardin and husband Wade of Liberty; one son, Kenneth L. Freeman of Randleman; four grandchildren, Whitney and Daniel Freeman and Douglas and Henry Hardin; and four sisters, Bertha Lineberry, Gertha Ellington, and Dorothy and husband R.D. Perry all of Siler City and Beulah Brady of Asheboro.
