Charles Newton Turner Jr.

He was a retired small engine mechanic and enjoyed working with his hands.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 20 at 2:00 p.m. at The Loflin Funeral Home Chapel, officiated by Rev. Dr. Joe Landers; burial will follow in Lynwood Cemetery in Graham. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service and other times at the home of his daughter in Franklinville.

He was the son of the late Charles, Sr. and Bessie Kimrey Turner and was also preceded in death by two brothers, Vernon C. Turner and Wilmer Turner.

Surviving is his wife, Judy Petty Turner; daughter, Lisa Turner Wright (James) of Franklinville; sons, Charles “Chuck” Turner, Sr. of Randleman and John “Kirk” Everette of Myrtle Beach, SC; brother, JC Turner (Mickey) of Swepsonville; seven grandchildren, Stephanie Woods, Heather Hogan, Charles D. Turner, Jr., Angela Wright, Andrea Walker, Amber Robinson, and David Turner and seven great-grandchildren.
