Charles Alfred Williams

Charles was member of Sandy Creek Baptist Church where he had served as a deacon and Sunday School Secretary. He worked for AJ Schneierson & Son as a supervisor of the cutting department for over 40 years. He enjoyed being outside and riding his gator and found tremendous joy in farming where he raised beef cattle and pigs. He was proud of his children, grandkids, and great-grandkids.

He was the son of the late Hunter Guire and Donnie Etta Wright Williams and was also preceded in death by his first wife, Elsie Smith Williams; sisters, Mary Lee Hill, Lena Mae Staley and Lou Etta Allred; and brothers, Luther Williams and James Williams.

Surviving is his wife of 28 years, Jeanette Boyles Williams; son, Charles Richard Williams and his wife, Leslie; daughters, Sheila Williams and Paula Lineberry and her husband, Mark; grandchildren, Josh Williams (Kelsie), Megan Harvey (Bray), Brandon Parks (Mindy), Taylor Parks (Daniel Herzberg), Kacey Allen (Landon) and Riley Ward (Brian); and seven great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends for a time of visitation on Wednesday, July 2, 2025 from 10:00 until 10:45 a.m. at Sandy Creek Baptist Church, 4765 Sandy Creek Church Road, Liberty, NC. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 2, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Sandy Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Travis Brock officiating; burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family wishes to express their most heartfelt gratitude to the staff of Cross Road Retirement Community/Assisted Living and Randolph Hospital for the care provided to Charles during his stay.

At the family’s request, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Sandy Creek Baptist Church, Memo: Harvest Vision Fund, 4765 Sandy Creek Church Road, Liberty, NC 27298.
