Deborah Jean Mabe Lewis

Family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 6, 2024 at Loflin Funeral Home, 212 W. Swannanoa Ave., Liberty. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on March 7, 2024 at Loflin Funeral Home. Burial will follow the service at Fairview Cemetery in Liberty.

Deborah was the daughter of the late Maynard Eugene Mabe and Sherry Elaine Mabrey Hicks.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, daughter, Brandi Lewis Tucker; grandchildren, Brian Johnson, Summer Tucker and Jase Tucker; brothers, Mike "Jed" Mabe (Julie) and Warren Mabe; sisters, Laurie Mabe (Todd), Tara Reynolds (Allen "Lucille") and Tonya Mabe. She also leaves behind several cousins, nieces and nephews.

Debbie had a passion for caring for the elderly. She served her community for many years as a nurse, most recently at Genesis Healthcare of Siler City. Debbie was a devoted mother and grandmother "Mawmaw". Her greatest joy in life was her daughter and grandchildren. She loved her family and friends, spending time with them however she could. She was always up for a good road trip with her best friend and sister, Laurie. From West Virginia, Nashville, Florida and their favorite, Myrtle Beach, they made so many beautiful memories.
