Ervin "Buddy" "Buddy" Workman

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 11 at 1 p.m. at Pleasant Hill Christian Church, 1712 Pleasant Hill-Liberty Road, Liberty, NC, officiated by Rev. Howard Spray; burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday, September 10 from 6 until 8 p.m. at Loflin Funeral Home, 212 West Swannanoa Avenue, Liberty, NC.

He is the son of the late Lacy and Mae Elizabeth Sheperd Workman and was also preceded in death by his step-mother, Mary Workman; sister, Jean Dickens and brother-in-law, Harold Dickens.

Surviving is his wife of 55 years, Betty Pickard Workman of the home; daughter, Melinda Workman Matthews (William) of Rocky Mount; son, Christopher T. Workman (Kim) of Gastonia, sister, Mae Frances Kime (Rhonlee) of Liberty and several nieces and nephews.
