Harvey Brower

He was very active in the Liberty community serving as Past Zone Governor of the local area Ruritan Clubs and was cofounder and co-owner of Brower Furniture Company.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 15 at 3:30 p.m. at The Loflin Funeral Home Chapel officiated by Rev. Wayne Branch; burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday evening from 6 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Harvey is the son of the late Oscar and Ruth Kidd Brower and was also preceded in death by five brothers, Bill, Herman, Jack, Horace and Vernon Brower.

He is survived by two daughters, Connie Fox (Todd) of Liberty and Debbie Pugh (Doug) of Pittsboro; two sons, Harvey L. Brower (Antionette) of Staley and Stephen Brower (Ellen) of Staley; two sisters, Lucille Young of Liberty and Verline Folwell (Jerry) of Julian; one brother, Harold Brower (Ruth) of Staley; 12 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice of one’s choice.
