I did not know Ross that well except just seeing him in the crewroom. I just found out about his passing. We will miss seeing him at work. My thoughts and prayers to his family.

Ross was in my new hire class at Piedmont airlines Sept 1987. Piedmont was like a big family we all felt a part of. This camaraderie lasted throughout our many mergers. Ross was always upbeat and good fellow. We will miss him.

Most of my memories of Ross is when Susan first started dating him. My very first airplane ride was with Ross in a little Cessna airplane.

So sorry for your loss (our loss too}. My thoughts and prayers are with you, his wife and family. We all loved Ross! Flew with him so many times. He was a most professional aviator. Most of all a most entertaining person to be around. What a dry sense of humor! Now Heaven can have some Ross Shepard entertainment! We all loved Ross. He will be missed. So thankful I had the pleasure of working with him!

Ross was a career long friend. I also was a Piedmont 87 year pilot.
He always mad me smile and put up with my bad jokes.
As an aviator he was the best. He flew First Officer with me on the 737. I later gave him check rides in the 737 and answered his questions as he made the change to the Airbus.
A great pilot, good friend and a first class person.
Ross, I pray a smooth flight west, until I can fly with you again, I will miss you my friend.
