

Hilda was a 1957 graduate of Nathanael Greene School and was a member of Welker's Crossroad EMC where she played the piano for over 56 years. She loved God, her family, music and all flowers. She retired from Southeast Middle School where she was the cafeteria manager. Hilda never met a stranger, was known for her kind heart, and her love of talking to anyone. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, February 6, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Welker's Crossroad EMC; burial will follow at Dr. Clyde M. Gilmore Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Saturday evening, February 5, 2022 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Loflin Funeral Home of Liberty and other times at the home.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Everett Lee and Flossie Agnes Gerner Amick.
Hilda is survived by her husband of 58 years, James Baxter "JB" Coble; son, Gerald Coble and his wife, Kristie; daughters, Anita Boyles and husband Jay, and Tammy Norman and her husband, Jamie; five grandchildren, James "Jake" Coble, Madison Perdue, Cassidy Messer, Andrew Coble and Brett Norman; great-granddaughter, Brayleigh Coble; sisters, Linda Breedlove and Shelba Capps; and brother, Dallas Amick; as well as numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
