Homer Holt

A funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 7, 2025 at Smithwood Christian Church, 6808 Kimesville Road, Liberty, with Pastor Derrick Smith and Pastor Gordon Fulton officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00-2:45 p.m. prior to the service.

Homer was known for his love of Ford trucks and his ability to restore classic cars. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and going to tractor pulls with his grandsons. In the short time he was able - he loved being a great-grandfather.

Homer was the son of the late Dugan Holt and Lovie Smith Holt Coble and was also preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Jordan Holt and brothers, Frank Holt, Bob Holt, Elmer Holt, Harold Holt and Jim Holt.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his two daughters, Jennifer Humble (Randy) and Jeanna Lynch (Randy); grandchildren, Dallas Lynch (Ali), Nicholas Humble (Maddie) and Christopher (Tiffney); and great-grandchildren, Hudson Lynch, Ava Lynch and Neely Humble.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Smithwood Christian Church, c/o Pam Smith, 6633 Alamance County Line Road, Liberty, NC 27298.
