A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 29 at 11: 00 a.m. at Mt. Hope United Church of Christ with Rev. Lloyd Spencer officiating; burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Howard is the son of the late Luther Lawrence Lambert and Mary Etta Pulliam Lambert and was also preceded in death by his wife, Millicent Corsbie Lambert; one sister and two brothers.
Surviving is his daughter, Carol Allred of Pleasant Garden; son, Allen Lambert and his wife, Terri of Greensboro; brothers, Alton Lambert and his wife, Anne of Climax and Lawrence Lambert of Greensboro; eight grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and two step grandchildren
