John Dee Campbell Sr.

A graveside funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 31, 2022 at Mt.Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery, 7103 Sandy Creek Church Road, Staley, NC.

He was the son of the late Lonnie Harold and Addie Williams Campbell and was also preceded in death by sisters, Dorothy Kivett and Addle Lea Taylor; and brothers, James Arthur "Jim" Campbell, Harold Truitt "Doc" Campbell and Wylie Campbell.

John is survived by his wife of 48 years, Brenda Sykes Campbell; son, John Dee Campbell, Jr. and wife, Cindy; step-son, Steven G. Wicker; grandchildren, Roger Wayne Ledford and Heather Diane Ledford; great-grandchildren, Mackenzie Tucker, Roger Wayne Ledford, Jr. and Julian Ledford; sister, Patti "Pat" Campbell; and brother, Lloyd Campbell.

At the family's request, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Victory Junction Camp, 4500 Adam's Way, Randleman, NC 27317.
