Mr. Marion Franklin York, 77, passed away after a battle with Lewy Body dementia on Tuesday, March 16, 2010 at Clapp’s nursing Home in Asheboro, NC.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 19, 2010 at the Loflin Funeral Home Chapel, at 7:00pm. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
He was survived by his loving wife Harris W. York of the home, his twin sister; Mary Frances York of California, brother; George York of Liberty, daughter; Melanie York Sizemore (Arthur) of Roanoke Rapids, NC, one grandson; John Franklin (Jack) Sizemore, two nephews and a niece.
He proudly served in the U.S. Army for two years.
