Martha Frances Rierson Elliott

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Martha Frances Rierson Elliott of Snow Camp, NC. She passed on May 14, 2026, at the age of 100 years. She was the daughter of the late James and Beulah Rierson and was also preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Matthew Elliott; daughter, Mary Worsham; and sister, Ola Foster.

The family will receive family and friends for a time of visitation on Sunday, May 17, 2026 from 2:00 until 3:00 p.m. at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 3572 West Greensboro Chapel Hill Road, Liberty, NC and other times at the home. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, May 17, 2026 at 3:00 p.m. at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, the burial will follow in the church cemetery.

She is survived by her son, Kenneth Elliott (Trudy); sister, Sarah Bowman; grandchildren, Kenneth Gregory Worsham, Vicki Neese (Richie), Rhonda Gayle Evans, Diana Phillippie (Tim), James Matthew Worsham (Caroline), and Angela Dunning (Michael); her great-grandchildren, Elizabeth, Crystal, Richard, Davia, Tiffany, Shane, Richie, Allison, Bradley, Wesley, Matthew, Zach, Anthony, Hallie, Sarah, Austin, Jeremy, Steven, Jennifer, Sylvia, Barbara, and Avery; 40 great-great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-great-granddaughters.

The family especially wants to thank her niece, Carla Bryan, for her many years of steadfast dedication! The family would also like to thank Amedisys Hospice of Burlington, NC! We will forever be grateful!
