Mary Katherine Johnson Mabe

A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 21 at Richland Gospel Church with Rev. Jeff Dodson officiating; burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Loflin Funeral Home in Liberty and other times at the home of Howard Mabe.

Mary was preceded in death by her father, Edgar Randolph Johnson; husband, Robert Grover Mabe; daughter-in-law, Bobbie Reeves Mabe; sister, Hilda Faye Johnson and brother, Billy Ray Johnson.

Surviving is her mother, Ruby Katherine Hodgin Johnson; son, Howard Lee Mabe; grandchildren, Donald Wayne Mabe and April Mabe Basden (Johnny); great-grandchildren, Jerimiah Lee Basden and Zachary William Basden; step-grandson, Bryson Joseph Basden; sisters, Brenda Duncan and Shirley Stanley and brothers, James “Jay” Johnson, Richard Johnson and Kenneth Johnson.
