Mary Margaret Delaney Price

Mary was loved by many and was truly a blessing as a mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 17, 2016 at 12:00 p.m. at the Loflin Funeral Home Chapel in Liberty with John Fields officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

She was the daughter of the late Henry William and Marion Slatcher Delaney and was also preceded in death by her husband, Ellery George Price; sons, Eric Scott Cray, Rickey Allen Cray, Anthony George Price; sisters, Mabel M. Delaney O’Connell, Elizabeth A. Delaney DeLoma, Arlene J. Delaney Mills, Audrey F. Esposito Curtiss; and brother, Darryl L. Delaney.

Mary is survived by her children, Audrey Cray Otero, Gloria Elizabeth Gouse, Penny Lynn Cray, Billie Lee Cray Hodgkins, Faithanne Schneider Rhodes, Deborah Schneider Perry, and Robin Cray Ginnetti; sisters, Marion D. Stevens, Dorene A. Delaney, Anna M. Delaney; brothers, Henry William Delaney, William John Delaney, and Rickey Allen Delaney. She also leaves behind 27 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the building fund for Shady Grove Baptist Church, c/o Dr. Bobby Gettys, 6853 Old Staley Road, Staley, NC 27355.
