Ruby Lee Westmoreland Isom

Ruby was a member and Sunday School teacher at First United Church of Christ in Liberty and retired from Gregson Furniture. She was a known face at Liberty School as she volunteered many hours there. Along with her husband, she was a charter member of the Dixie Derbies Square Dance Club. Her favorite hobbies were sewing, quilting, gardening and painting.

A graveside funeral service will be held on Monday, February 14, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Fairview Cemetery in Liberty.

She was the daughter of the late Laurie Albert Alexander Westmoreland and Eva Elizabeth Rierson Westmoreland and was also preceded in death by her husband, Light Junior Isom and son, David Light Isom.

Surviving is her daughter, Sharon Marie Isom; sons, Joe Thomas Isom (Susie) and Curtis Gray Isom (Sheila); grandchildren, Melissa Isom Minton, Robin Isom and Brad Isom (Brittany); great-grandchildren, Mackenzie Minton, Walker Minton and Maddux Isom; and sister, Rena Stephens.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Randolph Hospice House, 446 Vision Drive, Asheboro, NC 27203.
