I went to school with Ruby for, I believe, all 12 years and remember her being a quite, sweet and very kind down to earth person.  I'm so glad I was able to see her at our 50th class reunion.  People like her make the world a better place to live in.  God bless her children and family!

I was so sorry to learn of Ruby's death.  We were friends and classmates at Jamestown, and I remember her as a fine person.  Rest in peace, Sweet Ruby.

I had the pleasure of working with Ruby for several at Kindred Pharmacy. She was one of the kindest, gentlest souls I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. She was always there when it counted. Her sorrows and pain are over now. I hope she's catching up with those that went before her. I will miss her birthday calls.

Ruby touched so many with her life. I had the pleasure of working with her for a couple of years. She always found out everyone's birthday and secretly left a birthday package on your desk. She did this without need for thanks, but to give someone a little happiness on their birthday. Ruby was a special person. You will be missed.

How lucky our Uncle Ted was to be married to a beautiful lady! I will miss Ruby's yearly letter at Christmas time with all the news but her wonderful memories will forever be with us all. Love to all of her family. Carolyn Scheid

I live on Hoots Hollow Rd. in Liberty. If this is the same person who lived on Starmount I am very sorry to here of her passing. I did not know her, but she would wave when I would go by. How very much we will miss Ruby at the Watkins reunion.  We loved her.  It was she that brought out the best in Uncle Ted.  She has left us much too soon.  Betty

We are so sorry to hear of Ruby's passing. Our family has known the Watkins for over 40 years and has many wonderful memories of our times together. Ruby dearly loved her family and never missed an opportunity to take pictures of them to share with others. She was a loving and caring friend and enjoyed spending time visiting with her friends. To Patricia, Bill, and the rest of her family: We pray that God's love and comfort will surround you at this time and in the days to come. Know that she loved you very much. She is no longer in pain and has joined those she loved that went before her. Although we cannot be there at this time, we send our love and prayers.

Words can not express the sadness that filled my heart at the news of Ruby's passing.  I know that she is in a better place and in no pain.  Heaven is a brighter place because of her.  She was a truly great friend and will be missed terribly.

Patricia and Billy, I am very sorry to hear of your mothers passing, Ruby has always been a very sweet and loving person. God has taken her to his Heavenly Kingdom where she will be greeted by those she has missed for some time. Please know that you and your families are in our hearts and prayers.

class reunion in August 2010 & also I called her when she was at Wesley

My heart goes out to you at such a difficult time.  Ruby was, still is a remarkable and wonderful woman.  She is loved by so many and touched so many hearts.  Heaven received an Angel today.
