A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 19 at 11:00 a.m. at the Loflin Funeral Home Chapel; burial will follow in Randolph Memorial Park in Asheboro, NC.
She was the daughter of the late Frank Taylor Poe and Etrola Curl Poe. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Pamela Diane Pike; sisters, Lula Mae Capps and Fannie Wilson Lea; and her brothers, Frank Taylor Poe Jr. and James Clarence Poe.
Surviving is her daughter, Loretta Dorman; sisters, Shirley Poe Melancon, Martha Ann Graham, Mildred Simpson, Carolyn Vickers, Brenda Vickrey, Linda Keck, and Mary Reeves; and her brothers, Walter Poe and Lewis Poe.
