Ruth Poe James Arrington

A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 26, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Dr. Clyde M. Gilmore Memorial Park with Rev. Clifford Williams officiating. The family will receive friends at Loflin Funeral Home from 10:00 -10:45 a.m. on Friday, prior to the service.

Ruth was the daughter of the late Clarence and Maude Langley Poe and was also preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Osborne James; sisters, Louise Poe and Jenny James and grandson, Phil Booth.

Surviving are her daughters, Faye Booth (Keith) of Staley and Linda Stout (Victor) of Asheboro; sister, Alice Vickery of Staley, brother, William “Bill” Poe (Mary Ruth) of Staley; grandsons, Greg Booth, Chuck Atkins; great-grandson, Owen Atkins; great-granddaughters, Sable Atkins, Caitlyn Booth, Sydney Booth and Olivia Atkins.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 4615 Dundas Drive, Greensboro, NC 27407.
