Sue Johnson Burgess

A graveside service will be conducted on Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. Dr. Clyde M. Gilmore Memorial Park in Julian, NC with Reverend Wesley Hall officiating. The family will receive friends at Loflin Funeral Home in Liberty on Tuesday, July 31, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Sue is the daughter of the late George Sidney and Mary Estelle Johnson and was also preceded in death by her sisters, Gladys Cuberson, Mary Lois White, Helen Beckom; brothers, Larry Johnson, Clyde Johnson and Ray Johnson.

Sue is survived by her husband of 54 years, William “Bill” Burgess; daughter, Susan Burgess Jones and husband Mike of Liberty; son, William Eric Burgess of Julian; granddaughter, Savannah Jones; grandson, Austin Jones and brother, Sidney Johnson.
