Alice Barton Rothman

Alice was a loving, self-sacrificing mother, who also dedicated her life to caring for the elderly, and was the owner of the Bayview Retirement Home.

She enjoyed family, gardening, breeding Yorkshire Terriers, shopping, and especially giving to others.

If you knew Alice you know there's one word that describes her and it was "generous", as she loved giving to everyone she met.

Alice was predeceased by her parents, Conard and Catherine Barton, her late husband, Samuel Rothman, brothers Tommy Barton, Conard "Sonny" Barton and Jimmy Barton, her sisters Theresa Savage and Elizabeth Molinowski.

Survivors include her brother, William Barton (Ann), her son, Samuel Rothman (Claudia), her daughter, Kathleen "Dolly" Rothman Denis (Jeff), granddaughter Natasha Rothman Garland (Carlas) and great-granddaughter, Grace Garland and great-grandson Elijah Garland.

A Memorial Celebration will be held October 13, 2018, 2pm at Calvary Chapel Ft. Lauderdale, in the South Chapel, 2101 W. Cypress Creek Rd., Ft. Lauderdale, FL.

A Private Burial for family will be held October 13, 2018, 11am at Lauderdale Memorial Park at 2001 SW 4th Ave., Fort Lauderdale, FL.
