Born in Rincon, Puerto Rico, he is the loving father of Laura Ruiz and David Ruiz. Devoted son of Olga Borras and brother of Iris Ruiz and Rosa Ruiz-Hernandez. He is also survived by his four cherished grandchildren, Jayven, Julian, Mya, and D.J., and his former wife and friend, Mayito Ruiz.
