

Born on March 26, 1938, in East Kilbride, Scotland, Lenny’s adventurous spirit led him to the United States at the age of 14 with his family, settling in Guilford, Connecticut. After graduating from high school, he proudly served in the US Marine Corps. His post-military years were filled with travel and work, from photography to the restaurant industry, reflecting his diverse interests and zest for life.
In 1964, Lenny married Patricia Long, with whom he had two children, and raised a family in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. His career included roles as the general manager of Florida Cleaners and Laundry and part-owner of the Galaxy and Atlantis skating rinks in Lauderdale and Palm Beach. His business acumen and vibrant personality made him a well-known figure in the community.
Lenny married Patricia Malmquist, and they enjoyed their time together in Palm Beach Gardens until she died in 2014. Lenny then moved to Miramar to live with his son, Wesley. His later years were marked by his deep love for Disney and his keen interest in horse racing, hobbies that brought him immense joy.
Lenny is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Wesley and Mary Scott of Florida, their two children, Anastasia and David, and his daughter, Sherri Scott of North Carolina.
Lenny’s life will be celebrated in his cherished homeland of Scotland, where his ashes will be returned. His family and friends will remember him for his boundless energy, unwavering optimism, and the love he shared with those around him.
