Born in New York City, Raymond and his beloved late wife, Ann Marie Wheatley, moved to South Florida from Lakewood, New Jersey.
He is the devoted father of Raymond Wheatley, Jr., Patrick Wheatley (Patrice), Thomas Wheatley, Danna Marie Wheatley, Patricia Donovan (James), Kathleen Peters (George) and Dennis Mulry. He is also survived by eight adoring grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
A private Memorial Mass is planned to be offered at St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Deerfield Beach, Florida. Private burial will be held at a later date.
