Robert Sheldon Weese

Robert Sheldon Weese, a devoted, hard-working, and brave individual, passed away on November 28, 2025, at the age of 86. Robert was born on February 3, 1939, in Naperville, Illinois, to Trenton and Mildred (née: Ekstrom) Weese, who predeceased him.

Robert pursued a Master's Degree in Education at the University of Florida and dedicated his career to teaching, leaving a lasting impact on his students and colleagues. His commitment to education and his community was unwavering. He was a proud veteran of the United States Navy and was a United States Marine Corps reservist.

He is survived by his son, Jason Weese, daughter-in-law, Heather. His son Ryan Weese, and daughter-in-law Kim. His daughter Crysania in addition to Grandsons Rex and Jaxson Weese and Granddaughter Taylor Weese. Robert was predeceased by his son Adam Weese and beloved wife Jane Weese. Robert's legacy continues through his family and the countless lives he touched throughout his career.

A visitation will be held on December 27, 2025, from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Horizon Funeral & Cremation Services, located at 4650 N Federal Highway, Lighthouse Point, FL 33064. Following the visitation, a Celebration of Life will take place from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the same location.

Robert will be remembered for his dedication to family, education, and his community. His memory will be cherished by all who knew him.
