Anna E Mason

Anna E. Mason, 91, of Lima, died at 1:45 a.m., Saturday, October 15, 2011, at her residence. She was born May 13, 1920, in Bell County, KY, to Dave H. and Mary E. (Hunter) Brummett. On Dec. 10, 1935, she married Roy Mason, whom she was married to for nearly 64 years, and he preceded her in death on Sept. 2, 1999.

Mrs. Mason was a member of Lima Missionary Baptist Church, and enjoyed quilting, cooking, gardening, both flower and vegetable, and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Surviving are children: Jewel Dean (Steve) Baker of Lakeland, FL, Roy (Janice) Mason, Jr. of Oakwood, J.D. (Elaine) Mason of Lakeland, FL, Lawrence Mason of Adairsville, GA, Clarence Mason of Lima, OH, Ronnie (Faye) Mason of Resaca, GA, and Mary Ann Kantner of Lima; 28 grandchildren, 54 great-grandchildren, 113 great-great-grandchildren and one great-great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by son, Levi Mason; a daughter, Ethel Wimer; brothers: Ed, John, Arthur and Luther; and a sister: Sarah Lydia.

Funeral services will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, at Lima Missionary Baptist Church, with Rev. Denny Hunter officiating. Burial will follow in Fairmount Cemetery.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, from 2-7 p.m. at Siferd-Orians Funeral Home.
