Bernard M Atkins

He was born May 1, 1942 in Lee County, Virginia to Carl P. & Gladys (Smith) Atkins and they preceded him in death.

Mr. Atkins is survived by his children, Denise (Homer) Murrell of Kentucky, Delores (Stan) Roberts of Huber Heights, Ohio, Carl (Leona) Atkins of Garrett, Kentucky, Charlotte (Donald) Combs of Hindman, Kentucky, Dawn Vaillancourt of Jackson, Kentucky, Susan Lipscomb of Florence, Kentucky, Keith Atkins of Florence, Kentucky and Matthew Keller of Vaughnsville, Ohio. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and his siblings, Carl (Imogene) Atkins of Cridersville, Darlene (Larry) Hoffman of New Bremen and Beverly Mason of Lima.

He was the owner of Enviroclean. He attended Lima Missionary Baptist Church. He was a great father, grandfather and great grandfather.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 19, 2015 at Siferd-Orians Funeral Home with Rev. Terry Brock, officiating. Calling house will be Saturday 11:00 a.m. until time of the funeral at 1 p.m. Burial will follow in Fairmount Cemetery.
