Etta Mae Smith

Etta Mae (Partin) Smith, 94 of Lima passed away 7:45 a.m. Friday morning, February 22, 2013 at Springview Manor Nursing Home. She was born in Pineville, KY on February 5, 1919 to Rufus and Ellen Jane (Hill) Partin , they preceded her in death.

Mrs. Smith is survived by her children Pauline Jordan McDaries and Billie Gene Smith both of Lima, her grandchildren, Paul, Charlotte and Jeff; her great grandchildren, Brandon, Jesse, Chase, Angie, and Tony; her great great grandchildren, Izabella, Anthony and Mackenzie. She was preceded in death by a great grandson, Joey, her siblings, Cecil, Clarence, Frank, James & Clinton Partin and Anna Mason.

Mrs. Smith was a member of the Lima Missionary Baptist Church, she had been a resident of Lima since 1953. She was a wonderful mother, and grandmother putting her family before anything else. She had been a homemaker and loved sewing.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, February 27 at 10:00 a.m. at the Lima Missionary Baptist Church with Revs.Terry Brock and Denny Hunter officiating. Burial will follow in Fairmount Cemetery.

Family and friends may call Tuesday, February 26 from 2:00 – 6:00 p.m. at Siferd-Orians Funeral Home.
