
Frankie C. Cousey, 54, of Lima passed away at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday October 12, 2011. He was born on July 25, 1957 in Lima, to Norris and Levia Mae (Dishmon) Cousey and they preceded him in death. On July 31, 1975, he married Iris Batty and she survives him.
Also surviving Mr. Cousey are his children, Shaneta Batty, Jason Youngblood both of Lima and LaShonda (Anthony) Millner of Columbus, his grandchildren: Antwanette Youngblood, Onika Batty and Anthony Millner. He is also survived by his siblings: Martha (James Russell) McGriff of Lima, Ron (Dorthy) Cousey of Lima, Norise Cousey of Lima, Glenda Phillips of Lima, David (Diane) Cousey of Lima, Jeff (Cynthia Glover) Cousey of Lima, Gregg (Debra) Cousey of Lima, Tammy Cousey of Salt Lake City, Utah, Ray (Teena) Cousey of Las Vegas, NV, and Mark Cousey of Lima. Along with his parents he is preceded in death by siblings, Henry Dishman, Brenda Cousey and infant twin brothers.
Frankie had previously worked for 16 years at Clyde Evans and most recently he had been employed for Centimark for over 15 years. He was a member of the Amvets and a member of the American Legion Post 96. He was an avid bowler and pool player and loved his Cincinnati Bengals. He was a great cook and made wonderful chicken and dumplings. He loved his nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, October17, 2011 at Siferd-Orians Funeral Home with Pastor Elaine Watkins officiating, with burial to follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Calling hours will be 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. Sunday, October 16 with family present from 6-8 p.m. at Siferd-Orians Funeral Home.
