Helen M. Arthur

Helen was born in Vanlue, OH, on July 10, 1921, to Ralph & Maggie (Blodgett) Monday, who preceded her in death. She was a homemaker and a restaurateur with her husband, and later in life was a volunteer who transported the elderly. Helen will be ever cherished as a fantastic mother and grandmother. She was known as an individual with a gentle soul; always showing kindness and love to her family, friends, and everyone she met.

She is survived by two children Gary A. Arthur, of Lone Tree, Colorado and Cheryl A. (Ronald D.) Arthur-Miller, of Powell, OH, her four grandchildren, Gina Danielle Miller-Moreland, Natasha Nicole (Daniel) Swartwout, Amanda June (Michael) Arthur-Stanley, four great grandchildren, Benjamin Joseph Moreland, Henry Arthur Stanley, Elizabeth Ann Swartwout, and Charles Arthur Stanley.

Helen is preceded in death by her husband of 38 years, Frederick Joseph Arthur who passed in 1975, husband John Jr. Mayer who passed in 1990, and husband Rev. James C. Welty who passed in 2005.

Visitation will be on Sunday November 6, 2016 from 3:00 PM to 7:00PM at Siferd-Orians Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Monday November 7, 2016 at 2 PM, also at the funeral home.
