
Jean P. Mack, 89, formerly of Elida, died at 6:24 a.m., Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2011, at Otterbein of Cridersville. She was born Dec. 12, 1921, in Lima, to Arthur P. and Mary (Schneider) Kenny, who preceded her in death. On June 13, 1945, she married Joseph F. Mack, who died January 27, 2002.
Mrs. Mack was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Charles Catholic Church. Her interests included playing cards, home remodeling, antique furniture refinishing and was an avid “Gotcha Last” player.
Surviving are 3 sons: Kenneth L. (Barbara A.) Mack of Laurinburg, NC, Thomas J. Mack of Cygnet, and Robert J. (Debbie) Mack of Elida; a brother: Arthur P. Kenny of Wapakoneta; 4 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren, with two more on the way and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a great-grandchild, Alexis Paige Mack; 4 sisters: Ruth Archer, Roberta Rigali, Marie Kenny and Mary Katherine Moffat; and a brother: Robert Kenny.
Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 9:30 a.m., on Monday, at St. Charles Catholic Church, with Fr. Stephen Blum officiating. Burial will follow in Gethsemani Cemetery.
Visitation will be on Sunday from 2-4, and 6-8 p.m. at Siferd-Orians Funeral Home, where a Parish Wake service will be held at 8:00 p.m.
