Jimmy Reeder

Jimmy Reeder, 59, of Lima passed away at 9:08 p.m. Monday, May 30, 2016 at St. Rita’s Hospice. He was born on January 4, 1957 in Lima to James Henry and Nettie Reeder and they preceded him in death. On October 24, 1997 he married Lula Long and she survives him.

Also surviving are his children, Tavares James of Lima, Terrance James of Houston, Texas, Nakesha James of Lima, Nekosha (Sullivan) James-Doughty of Houston, Texas, fifteen grandchildren; his siblings, Robert (Gloria) Reeder. Ida (Billy) Phillips, Charlotte Moore and Douglas (Betty) Henry all of Lima. He also leaves a host of nieces and nephews.

Jimmy was employed as a production worker at Ford Motor Company, Goodyear and Price Pallets in his lifetime. He loved his family, fishing, carpentry, working in his yard and fixing old cars. He will always be remembered as a very loving person.

Funeral services for Mr. Reeder will be at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 7, 2016 at SIFERD-ORIANS FUNERAL HOME with Brother Michael Skinner, officiating.
