Paul Vernon Arnett

Paul was a quiet man who loved his family. In his earlier years, he often played golf with his brothers and they were even featured in the Lima News for their great games. Paul met his wife of 32 years, Lonnie (George) Fields, at the former Kings and Queens social club where he served as Past President. He enjoyed rooting for his favorite football team, the Ohio State Buckeyes, gardening and caring for his flowers.

Paul will be deeply missed by his wife, Lonnie J.(George) Arnett; daughter, Gail Gadberry of Cincinnati, OH; stepson, Gary Wilson of Los Angeles, CA; brother, Daniel (Barb) Arnett; brother, Charles (Paloma) Arnett; brother, Jack (Diane) Arnett; 7 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; along with many nieces, nephews and relatives.

In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by his stepdaughter, Beverly Stamblesky and his brother, Richard Arnett.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 21, 2017 at Siferd-Orians Funeral Home, 506 N. Cable Rd, Lima, OH 45805 with Rev. Dr. Timothy White officiating. Friends may call 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be at Memorial Park cemetery in Lima.
