Ronald Lee Allen

Ronald was born on February 25, 1937 in Lima to Thelma (Spencer) Sherer. He was a 1955 graduate of South High School in Lima. He valiantly served his country in the U.S Army from 1960-1962. Ronald retired from the Oakwood Correctional Center in Lima where he was a corrections officer. He enjoyed bird watching, riding his bike in the park, he loved his family dearly, and held a special place in his heart for his grandchildren.

He is survived by his four children Michael Allen of Lima, Rhonda Allen-Harman, of Morrow, Michelle Allen, of Loveland, and Brian Allen of Loveland, his grandchildren, Jaden Allen, and Joey & Brady Harman, and a sister Jennie Scarberry.

He is preceded in death by his three siblings Gale Sherer, William Sherer, and Nola Henry.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday July 5, 2016 at Siferd-Orians Funeral Home, from 4-7 P.M
