

Ronald K. Ream, 62 of Lima, died suddenly at his residence on October 18th, 2011. He was born March 23, 1949 in Jasper, Alabama. He was the son of Ayres Earline Ream (Kennedy) and James Noel Ream who both preceded him in death.
He graduated from Lima Senior High School in 1967 and later earned a Post Secondary degree from Apollo Vocational Academy. He worked for over 18 years with Excello\ Air foil Textron and was actively involved with the United Auto Workers Union. He later worked for and recently retired from Minster Machine Company as a national and international road service technician. His hobbies included spending time with family and friends, golfing, hunting, fishing and darts.
His survivors include: Carol Ream of Lima, (ex-wife and friend) and children Angela (Dwayne) Jenkins of Columbus and James A. (Margie) Ream of Durham, North Carolina. He had four grandchildren who adored him: Brock, Cassidy and Braden Jenkins and Ayres Ream. His siblings include: Loretta (Wilbur) Fisher of Lima, Linda (William) Parker of Carraville, FL, Marshia (Craig) Hill of Colorado Springs, CO, James Richard Ream of Lima, Jennifer (Steven) Wacker of St. Louis, and Keith Randall “Randy” Ream of Lima.
He was a loving and devoted Father and Grandfather and words cannot express how much we will miss him.
His grace and generosity toward people earned him the admiration and love of countless others who will feel the loss of this wonderful, kind, fun-loving man in their lives. Visitation will be at Siferd-Orians Funeral Home, on Saturday from 3 until 6 p.m. and Sunday from 2-4 p.m. with a service to follow at 4:00 p.m., with Pastor Allan Morris officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Chase Bank for a college education fund for his grandchildren.
