Ronalda June Cox Hites

Ronnie was born June 11, 1936 in Lima, the daughter of the late Rondell and Georgianna Gahret Cox. She married Jack R. Hites on May 23, 1954; he preceded her in death on June 15, 1989.

Ronnie was a volunteer at Lima Memorial Hospital for more than 17 years and had been a Nurses’ Aide at Allen Inn and St. Rita’s Medical Center, and was a member of Lima Memorial Health Systems Ladies Auxiliary.

She leaves to cherish her memory, a son Richard Ray (Julie Ann) Hites of Lima, two step grandchildren Matthew and Kayla Dotson, three sisters Nancy (Richard) Allen of Lima, Judy (Randy) Wagner of Wapakoneta, and Kay (Bruce) Calim of Lima, and a sister in law Fairy Jo Cox of Lima, and a nephew Kelvin (Lisa) Cox of Lima.

She was preceded in death by brothers George Lonnie Cox, Rondell Cox Jr., and Rex Lynn Hall.

Burial will take place at St. Matthews Cemetery at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Siferd-Orians Funeral Home.
