Almon William Vineyard

He was preceded in death by his parents Bud and Lila Vineyard and is survived by his sister Sally Martz, his brothers Wayne and Glenn and 7 nieces and nephews as well as many grand and great grand nieces and nephews.

He graduated from Lincoln High School in 1955 and spent the rest of his life working with his brother Wayne as a farmer and rancher, first raising sheep, then beef cattle and growing rice. He was still working, feeding the cows 3 days before his death.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing and flying his airplane to hunt and fish.

He was well loved by his family and will be dearly missed. In recent years, he realized the value of education and has either directly funded or set up higher education accounts for many of his grand nephews and nieces.

A private family burial will be followed by a celebration of life later. Any memorial contributions may be made to the Vineyard Family Scholarship which supports Lincoln High School Students active in either 4-H or FFA.
