David Harold Provost

David "Dave" Provost, beloved father, grandfather, brother, and veteran, passed away peacefully on May 26, 2026, in Roseville, California. He was 79 years old.

Born on October 12, 1946, in San Rafael, California, Dave grew up to be a man who truly loved life. He was the ultimate life of the party and the undeniable heart of his family. Dave was happiest when he was out in the sunshine, spending time on the boat, or enjoying a couple of cold beers with family and friends at any local watering hole.

A proud veteran, Dave honorably served his country in the Vietnam War from 1966 to 1968 as a heavy vehicle driver. For his dedicated service, he was awarded the Marksman Medal (Rifle M-14), National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal with Device, the Good Conduct Medal (1st Award), and one Oversea Bar.

Dave is preceded in death by his beloved wives, as well as his mother and father. He is survived by his loving sisters, daughters, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, all of whom will carry his joyful spirit forward.
