James W. Stevens was born at home on the family's Lincoln property on April 22, 1924. He passed away on June 17, 2021 at the age of 97. He was the second of four children; Helen, Jim, Leroy, and Ruth born to James T. and Clara Stevens. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Rosemary, and his children Jim Jr. (Debbie), Sharyl Stannard and Kathleen Taggett (Jeff), step children Penny Konsonlas, Theresa Avery and John Morrison. He was also blessed with several grandchildren: David Stannard, Kalie Miller, Jon, Jimmie, and Luke Stevens, Bodie Taggett, Adam Morrison and Sarah Joslyn. He is also survived by great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He will be dearly missed.
