Daniel D Hevelone

Daniel D. Hevelone, passed Feb. 16, 2016. Born Aug. 8, 1934 to Samuel J. Hevelone and Clara B. (Hadley) in Holmesville, Ne. Graduated from Holmesville High School in 1952. Attended Fairbury Jr. College and University of Nebraska. Married Connie Keyt Feb. 2, 1957. Served in Nebraska Air National Guard and U.S. Army from 1954 to 1958. Worked for Olson Construction Co. and associated companies for 39 years as field supervisor and project manager, retiring in 1999. Served as volunteer with Nebraska City Rescue Squad. While employed he was an active member and served as president of Nebraska Concrete Paving Association and was an active member of American Concrete Paving Association. Member of Crestwood Christian Church. Survived by daughters, Terri (Dale) Haack, Traci (Wayne) Gilmer; special friend Vonnie Elliott; five grandsons, Travis, Wesley, Wade Gilmer, and Matthew (Hannah), Jeremy (Asia) Haack; three great grandchildren, Isaiah, Janae, and Nathaniel Haack. Preceded in death by loving wife Connie, married 53 years; infant granddaughter Sarah Haack; brothers Elmer, Delbert and Ivan; sisters Clarissia Godoplin, Carol Ball, and Ila McGowen. Visitation Sunday February 21st at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home from 2pm-4pm, 6800 S. 14th St. Services February 22nd at 10:00am at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home.
